GP Meeting: Strengthening the Institutional Processes of Decision Making

GP Meeting is a free Android app developed by ISGP Program under the category of Social & Communication. The app is designed to help in capturing the different meetings of the Gram Panchayats, which are primarily responsible for delivering various local services to their residents. The main objective of the Institutional Strengthening of Gram Panchayat Project (ISGPP) is to strengthen the institutional processes related to decision making and implementation with better participation, transparency, and accountability.

The app facilitates capturing the meetings of the Gram Sansad/Gram Sabha and the Standing Committee/General Body of the GP. It also allows users to record important conversations during meetings through voice recordings. Additionally, Geo-tagged pictures of the meetings can also be captured using this app. With its user-friendly interface, GP Meeting is an excellent tool for building capacity at all levels, mentoring, better oversight functioning, and monitoring the coverage and quality of services delivered.
